π‘ Debut prep tips
- Commission your model + rigging first. They have the longest queues β good riggers book out 2β6 months. Everything else (panels, emotes, overlays) can be made while you wait.
- Always check the artist's Terms of Service before paying β turnaround time, revision count, commercial use rights, and whether streaming the WIP is okay.
- Budget tip: you don't need everything at debut. Model, one overlay set, panels, a PFP, and a schedule graphic are plenty. Emotes and sub badges unlock after affiliate anyway.
- Pay with tracked methods (PayPal invoice, not friends & family) so you're protected if a commission falls through.
- Do a full tech rehearsal a few days early: model tracking, alerts, transitions, audio β the whole stream, recorded, watched back. Debut-day surprises are the worst surprises.
- Announce 2β3 weeks out with a teaser, then countdown posts. Your debut works best as a small event people can plan to attend.
π The checklist
Check tasks off as they're delivered. Track who's making each piece, what it costs, and whether the artist has been paid. Anything that doesn't apply to you β just delete it. Add your own rows at the bottom of any section.
